(Waiting for an Interview)
The words "part-time job" always bring back to me the memory of my first interview for a part-time job.
That afternoon a great number of nervous and excited young interviewees were waiting for their turns in the hall. Some were walking back and forth, others talking about their nerves. I had many butterflies in my stomach. I tried to predict the interviewers' questions and how I should give my answers. Though I had made full preparation for the interview, I still had some fears, for it was my first interview.
At last, it was my turn. I got up and walked quickly towards the door. I felt my face red and my heart beat fast. Suddenly a voice said in my mind,"Calm down! Calm down! Try your best and you will pass. "Encouraged by these words, I got my confidence and began my interview smoothly.
Last summer vacation I had my first interview in my life in order to get a part-time job.
That afternoon I stood in the hall with a great number of young interviewees. We were waiting for our turns to be interviewed. All of us were nervous and excited.
My heart beating fast, I entered the room. At the moment I met with the smiling eyes of the interviewer, I gained my confidence and began my interview smoothly.
About dreams
Everyone has his dreams, but not all these dreams can come true. People give up their dreams for this or that reason. Those whose dreams become true have at least one thing in common, that is, they always hold fast to their dreams.
Marie Curie, a famous scientist, has set a good example. In 1898, Marie found a new element in the pitchblende. In order to prove her discovery, she must get it and show it to the world. Then to get the new element became her dream and goal of her life. After four years'' hard work and refinement of tons of pitchblende, Marie and her hus-band at last saw the dim blue light of the new element -- radium. Her dream had come true. There are many other examples. Just around us, for instance, the athletes who gain the gold medals, the artists who are popular with the public, and even the students who enter tile university after years of hard study and preparation, are all dream-holders.
Hold fast to your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed, but hold on to the end, you ,sill find there is no greater happiness than making your dream come true.
Catch A Thief
Today, when I walk on the street after class, suddenly, I see a man is run after by a policeman, though the man runs fast, he is caught by the policeman at last. I learn that the man is a thief, he steals someone’s money. I admire the policeman so much, he is a hero in my heart, I want to be a policeman in the future.

On the Way to School-上学路上
On the Way to School
This morning, my father took me to school by bike. I sat at the back of the bike, eating a banana. After I ate it up, I threw the skin onto the street randomly. No sooner had I done this than I realized that I had done something bad to our environment. And maybe someone would step on it and tumbleover. I must pick it up. Thinking of these, I asked father to stop. I jumped offthe bike and ran back to pick up the banana skin and threw it into a roadside dustbin. Seeing this, father praised me and I felt very happy.
In future I will protect the surroundings more consciously and think more about others.
